Born in Chaos, Forged in Fire

I wasn’t born with privilege. I was born in communist Albania, where freedom was a dream people whispered about in secret.

When communism was overthrown, chaos took over. A civil war erupted. My family lived through borders, bullets, blackouts, and the constant fight for survival. We risked everything multiple times trying to escape.

Once, we even boarded a boat with nearly 20,000 people, desperate to escape to Italy. I was only nine years old, and I saw things no child should ever see fear, desperation, and the raw fight to live another day.

Eventually, we were granted political asylum and made it to America, carrying nothing but grit, resilience, and the hope of a better life.

My parents taught me If I wanted freedom, I’d have to get it.

From Silence to Stages

 When we finally came to America, I was 11 years old. I wasn’t handed opportunities I built them.

I started working at 13 and my mother pushed me to put myself in uncomfortable rooms: on stages, events, on radio stations, anywhere that would stretch me even start singing.

That’s where I discovered my true power: my voice, my presence, and my story.

That fire carried me back to Albania years later, where I became a household name as a singer with my first song. I became a reality TV figure in 2 reality shows. I lived under 24/7 surveillance cameras with other VIPs for 120 days, my every move broadcasted to the nation.

I sat at tables with celebrities, business leaders, and top politicians not because anyone gave me a seat, but because I walked in with presence, fire, and the relentless drive to create my own opportunities.

America Again. Starting Over.

But fame overseas didn’t mean anything when I came back home to New York. Here, I was just the “normal girl” a waitress, hustling shifts, saving every dollar I could to invest back into my career.

This was before I became a mom. During that time, I kept rebuilding. I tried everything boutiques, online stores, different business ventures. Some failed. Some thrived. But every single one taught me lessons in power, resilience, and reinvention.

When I became a mother, everything shifted again. My husband and I built businesses together a Tech company, but as it grew, I realized something: I had built myself another job. I was hustling harder than ever, chasing money but losing myself in the process.

The Cage Cracks

The real breaking point came when my parents got sick especially watching my father’s health decline and ultimately losing him. His resilience had always been my fuel, but in losing him, I felt like I lost myself too.

It was as if the world was on top of me, and I was dragging it with me everywhere I went. I was raising kids, growing businesses, building brands, holding my family together and at the same time, I felt completely trapped in a life that didn’t feel like mine anymore.

That’s when I realized the truth: I wasn’t building businesses for the sake of hustling harder. I wasn’t building just to have another job. I was building because what I really wanted was freedom. Freedom to be a mom and a woman. Freedom to live, to breathe, to choose. Freedom to build a life not just a business.

Reaching Millions & Going Bigger

During the pandemic, everything shifted. Every day, women started asking me the same questions I had once asked myself:

“How do I build a brand while raising my babies?”
“How do I grow a business without burning out?”
“How do I use my story, my skills, my expertise to create freedom?”

So I started sharing. My mindset. My life. How I was building my business. How I was leveraging my story and personal brand. How I was executing and reinventing in real time.

And that’s where PowerUP was born.

Since then, I’ve taught thousands of women how to step up, speak up, and take control of their businesses, their brands, and their lives. PowerUP isn’t just a program. It’s a movement of women who are done dimming, done doubting, and done waiting for permission.

The Mission Now

My mission isn’t just about building Businesses. It’s BIGGER than that.

My belief is this: Every woman has a story, a skill, and a spark that can build freedom, legacy, and impact. But too many are trapped in the noise, in the fear, in the endless juggle of family, business, and expectations.

I believe there are millions of women who just need the right person, the right push, and the right system to unlock everything that’s already inside them.
